Evergreen campaigns are recurring email campaigns that run automatically on a schedule you define — hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly — instead of being sent once. They're ideal for daily digests, weekly newsletters, monthly updates, and RSS-powered content emails. You create and manage them under Campaigns → Evergreen Campaigns.
Setup is a 4-step wizard: pick the campaign name, frequency, and recipients (contact lists or a segment, with optional audience filters); select one or more broadcasts (multiple broadcasts rotate across runs for content variety); choose sending nodes with a sending mode (Batches or Loop) and selection pattern (Sequential or Random); and configure settings — threads, hourly speed limit, tracking (opens, clicks, unsubscribe link), skip duplicates, skip unconfirmed, and sender details.
A standout option is Schedule if RSS has new feed: the campaign only sends when one of your selected RSS-enabled Dynamic Content Tags has new content since the last run, so subscribers never get an email with nothing new. RSS content itself is embedded via Dynamic Content Tags placed in the broadcast (e.g. [[my-rss-feed]]).
Worth knowing: the Status toggle in the list enables or pauses a campaign; edits to an active campaign take effect on the next run, not a run already in progress; click the Total Runs count to view per-run history and status; and detailed performance metrics live under Statistics → Evergreen Stats. Skip duplicates and skip unconfirmed are enabled by default.
