After enabling the Google Analytics addon under Setup → Addons, open its settings page to turn on UTM tagging for your account. You set default values for utm_source (default "email"), utm_medium (default "email"), and utm_campaign, which accepts tokens like {{campaign_name}}, {{campaign_id}}, {{list_name}} and {{date}} that are filled in automatically per campaign. Optional utm_content and utm_term fields are available too. A "Preview tagged URL" tool shows exactly what a tagged link will look like. By default the addon skips unsubscribe and other system links so those aren't tagged. These account defaults apply to every broadcast, campaign, trigger and drip you send. You can override them per campaign: on the broadcast, campaign, trigger or drip screen there's a "Google Analytics (UTM)" panel where you flip on "Override account UTM settings for this campaign" and enter campaign-specific values. Overrides work on both create and edit. Tagging happens at send time and works whether or not click-tracking is enabled.
