Create an automation with Add New on the Automations page, giving it a name and one or more contact lists depending on the List selection type setting. The builder canvas shows the trigger at the top with actions below; add a step with the plus button under a leaf node, and edit any node by clicking it. Nodes must be completed in order — the builder refuses to add a step until the previous one is finished, and new actions can only be added at a leaf node, never inserted mid-branch. Conditions cannot follow an Operation. An automation is Running or Paused, and to edit a live automation you must pause it first; while paused, triggers do not execute for subscribers and contacts already mid-journey resume when you restart it. Deleting an action requires typing delete to confirm, and deleting a condition removes both of its branches. The Templates Gallery imports and reuses workflows as zip files containing the workflow JSON plus a thumbnail of at least 500 by 500 pixels, and any automation can be exported from the builder header. Automations can also be deleted individually or in bulk from the list page.
