To enable Automations, install and activate the addon under Setup → Add-ons, set the application queue driver to Database (Automations will not save its settings or run on the Sync driver), then switch Automation Status on under Application Settings → Triggers. The Triggers tab holds four more settings: Automatically resume system-paused Automations (restarts automations that were paused because their sending node failed, once that node recovers), Automation waiting pool driver (Database or Write-File), List selection type when creating an Automation (Single List or Multiple List), and Reset Automation Limit (Skip or Resume, deciding what happens to limit-paused automations when the monthly counter resets). Automations depends on the scheduler, which runs the waiting pool job on an interval set under Cron Settings as automation_waitingpool, plus two daily jobs at 00:05 and 00:07. Per-package limits are Automation Limit, Monthly Actions Limit, and Maximum Actions in a single Automation (default 30); -1 means unlimited. A per-user Reset Automation Limit setting lives on the user profile's Automation tab.
