The Setup menu is where you configure everything Mumara Campaigns needs before you can send: your delivery infrastructure, lead-capture forms, staff access, and platform extensions. Each item lives under its own page in the Setup menu.
Its components fall into three groups:
Email delivery — Bounce Addresses (mailboxes that receive delivery failures), Bounce Rules (classify bounces as soft or hard), Sending Domains (SPF, DKIM, and tracking-domain authentication), and Sending Nodes (the SMTP servers or ESP connections that actually deliver your emails).
Lead capture — Web Forms (subscription forms with double opt-in) and Feedback Loops (process spam complaints from ISPs).
Administration — Staff Management (administrators, roles, permissions), Multi-threading (parallel sending performance), Email Templates, and Add-ons.
The recommended setup order is: configure bounce processing first, then add and verify a sending domain (DNS records can take time to propagate), then create sending nodes linked to that domain and bounce address, and finally add web forms and feedback loops if you need them.
Worth knowing: Mumara supports both direct SMTP (generic SMTP, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL) and major ESP APIs such as Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mailgun, SparkPost, Mailjet, Postmark, SMTP2GO, Elastic Email, SendInBlue, ZeptoMail, and Mandrill. Access to each Setup page is permission-controlled, so staff members only see what their role allows.
